Cal was seen at an In and Out burger near Pasadena. Rumor has it he’s interviewing today, then flying to Brooklyn game afterward. Sources say he’ll make the jump if UK loses to Duke. #1 reason is that Cal said he “wished” he could coach Jodie Meeks in 2009. This is his best shot to do so.

This does not bode well for Kentucky. It seems as though Bobby Petrino will become the highest paid coach at UK, which will undoubtedly anger Cal enough to leave the program. Kentucky will be forced to promote Orlando Antigua to head coach, who can’t even get a head coaching job in a major conference. It’s not often that a top 3 team has its season derailed by dissension before the first official game, but that appears to be the case here.
