Matt used to tell people last year from early on, just relax people and enjoy the moment. How true that was. I have been to both Exhibition games, and no offense to this years team.. I think it takes seeing other UK teams play to realize just how good Anthony Davis and MKG where. I can honestly say those two have been the best freshman players that I have ever seen play at UK. I go as far back as Joe B Hall and remember the last year Rupp coached. Those two guys where truly something to behold.

Watching that makes you realize just how great that team was. What a perfect combination of fresh new talent in Davis,Teague and Kyle W. combined with Jones and Lamb returning with Miller topping it off. The way they jelled and played off each other was rare. I think they were as good, perhaps a shade better, than the ’96 team. They were indeed special.

I remember. Hell,I will always remember!!!!!i am 63 years old and have watched uk since I was old enough to remember. The most athletic and entertaining team I have ever seen!!

Anthony Davis became a legend starting with that block on Henson. Man that team was amazing!!!
