[Moderated by Matt Jones, Drew Franklin and Tyler Thompson]
A day after finding out that he’s in the Rockets’ plans for the next couple of years, Patrick Patterson got some not-so-good news today. The strained quad that has been bothering him will keep Patterson out of Houston’s season opener vs. Detroit. Patterson figures to play a lot more minutes now that Luis Scola is no longer on the team and should be inserted right back into the starting lineup when he’s healthy. Until then, Marcus Morris will start at the 4 tonight, with Terrence Jones right behind him.
Get well, P-Patt.

Kinda pisses me off too. They haven’t even played jones yet in this game and you just know he is ready to explode. I got nba league pass just to freaking watch the young cats and he hasn’t even played yet!!! Oh well, at least Davis is beastin it up! Miller got a 3 and a steal too!

Hope P Pat has a monster year. Still think he was the most important Cat since Mashburn. He wasn’t the best, but important because he came at a time when we where not get the big time players.

#3 I got league pass too. There may be a lot of times we don!t get to see our former cats players, because dish has decided to allow whoever is the provider of the games black them out. I just went to dish wheresmygame website and found out we will not get to see Michael Kidd-Gilchrist first game because it will be blacked out. Looks like the BBN# will have to come together and contact dish concerning this matter.

I don’t understand this move tonight by the Houston coaching staff. Starting Morris was a question in itself and for some reason Jones did not play a minute. Anyone heard something I haven’t?
