It seems you can’t be too careful with your Kansas memorabilia when John Calipari is in town. While the owner of this piece was out of town, Coach Cal decided to deface, autograph, and heighten the value of a 2008 Kansas National Championship banner. I like your style, Coach. Well played.
If you look closely in the fine print, you’ll see that Calipari also left a little note wishing KU the best of luck recruiting Andrew Wiggins, because they’ll certainly need it.

In unrelated news: 4 members of this yrs UNC basketball team turned in video reports in a marketing class depicting the abusing farm animals. When asked for comment the NCAA advised there is no rule against that and complimented them on their original ideas in the study of market research among mrk demographics.

This was on last week’s All Access episode. It was in the ESPN offices belonging to someone he knew but it happened so fast I don’t think the owner was mentioned. Of course, the significance of why Cal did it is Kansas beat his Memphis team that year in overtime. Funny but also a dig at the game result that year, and also the personal revenge he got this year by beating them.
