SportsbyBrooks is reporting that Fran Fraschilla will replace Bob Knight on ESPN’s Big Monday college basketball telecasts. That means we can all enjoy Monday night college basketball games again.
I feel awful for whatever intern had to break the news to Knight.

@ 4 – I’m not so sure a Knight:Sandusky comparison is appropriate; however, Knight is a turd, and the nation will be better off without having to hear his sand-and-glue voice and ignorant comments any longer

So what we are seeing is this team in Indiana that places success above academics. There is this coach called Creen that will do what ever he can to win. This includes recruiting suspect recruits to further the cause of championships at the university . Academics are second to the cause. Fundamentally I find this to be wrong as academics should be first. But; if I can manipulate the system and do the “EXACT” same thing as Kentucky, and provide an advantage for Indiana, I am all over it. Others will says there is cheating involved, but we will pull the BK / MK Card. We will succeed, we are strong, no one can tell us we’re wrong. Ok wait….. that’s a Pat Benatar song…Seriously do I even have a unique thought. sigh……
