(Trey Lyles)
John Calipari and Orlando Antigua are reportedly both watching 2014 star Trey Lyles (6-9 forward) work out today. Lyles was originally committed to Indiana, but withdrew his verbal commitment last month. Calipari gave a bit of insight into the conversations he is having with these elite players as he cruises across the country.

Breaking Calipari’s code: We’ll see your bricks and mortar, Yum Center, and raise you a player’s first program, 6-member NBA draft class, a coach with a winning personality and we’ll even let you stay for 4 years. But chances are you probably won’t need to.
But…just in case you are interested in bricks and mortar… we just built a new Wildcat Coal Lodge that’s not too shabby either.

3) No kidding. I wonder if Chane’s mother is thinking, “If my son had gone to UK, he would be in the NBA, and he would have already gotten me a Cadillac.”

Actually I think he is refering to the ground swell of support to fire Joker, and that it doesn’t matter about the facilities it matters about the coaches and recruits they can get. Alittle support for Joker from Cal.
Just my take

Of course the money that is given to their parents or AAU coaches doesn’t have a thing with to do with their decision. Or lets say the job that was given to Brandon Knight’s mom.

It’s easy for Cal to be a smug prick since he has to do nothing to get a recruit. Wes brings in ready made pros and Cal gets all the credit. It’s a beautiful thing. The fat sob doesn’t even hardly watch recruits play. Wes does the dirty work. At least acknowledge Wes is the man. I mean, Cal did give him a ring.

Everything that #13 just said.
Cal hit it right on the head with his comments. Honestly, at this point who can say anything against him? Look at what he is built here in Lexington. It is a wonderful place to play basketball with just about everything that a big-time recruit is looking for in a program. Who wouldn’t want to play for the man? He just gets “it”

Any remote chance ofq a little consistency on this web- site. You can’t go with this, which I totally agree with by the way, and then constantly cry that lack of facilities kills football recruiting. Lack of recruiting base and tradition do and all the facilities in the world won’t help. They also won’t drag down our competition, the best in college football.
