Oh boy.
Not only is Florida bigger, faster, and stronger, but now their offensive coordinator is pissed off. Brent Pease, former assistant coach at Kentucky in 2001 and 2002, wants to hang 50 points on Kentucky because of a tweet Jared Lorenzen sent out back in January when Pease was hired.
At a Gator Club event this summer, Pease said, “I coached Jared. Jared is one of those guys that was talking trash when I took this job. So that’s good for about two extra launch plays, trying to get to 50 points on those guys when they come to campus.”
Oh boy.
Just what UK needs: Extra launch plays.

It’s depressing how sad (and high) our football team is. I hate it for the players and I still bleed blue but this is embarrassing for the state of Kentucky. Louisville is the only football rep we have, do you realize how hard it is to say that and not puke in my mouth?

Fl doesn’t need Lorenzen to score 50. Agree with #2. 50 by halftime is not unrealistic. LOL when Joker said he was preparing team to play Gators.

They led 49-7 at the half in 05, and 42-3 at the half in 08. Our defense is worse by far than either of those seasons. #RISE

He is obviously not up to Florida offensive coordinator status with a lowly prediction like that. UF has hung 70+ points on UK several times in the past ten years or so.

I was at the game where UK had Florida beat and Lorenzen instead of taking a sack, just kinda flung the ball which UF intercepted and scored on. We were done.

I went to UK from ’92-96 (“The Curry Years”), so I saw Florida lay 70+ points on UK in Gainsville before–I think we scored 3 or 7 that day. Big fun!

Take the sack Jared!! If he would’ve in 2003, we wouldnt be talking about the Florida streak anymore. Blew a 15 pt lead with under 5 minutes to go because the Round Mound of Touchdown thought it was better to throw a pick 6 from his knees than just take the sack.

In Papaws third year UF came into our place and hung 49 on us in the first half. They should be able repeat that on Saturday. Joker allowing the pot smokers back on the team is another nail in his coffin. I may have attended my last game this year at Commonwealth as I think I will now be one of those stay in the parking lot people to show my angst for the program.

Another painful Florida memory: in ’93 or so we had Florida beat in Commonwealth, but gave up a 40+ yard pass on the last play from scrimmage to lose the game. It was the first Wuerffle to Doering TD throw–one of many to come.
