I am hearing that Drake may be coming to Lexington to be a guest coach for the UK NBA Alumni Game. He would join John Wall, Demarcus Cousins and others who are playing in the game. More info as we get it…
UPDATE: Calipari confirms it. Drake will be the coach.

I wouldn’t mind going, but the prices are a little high. Plus it’s
football season …..

If Cal & Drake REALLY want to help the FB program, then get Drake to play w/UK band at a 1/2 time show. Would be a HUGE crowd & inject some excitement & youth into the program. Don’t know if this would violate any BIASED “rules” against the NCAA, probably ’cause Cal just breathing seems to bother them.)

I tend to strongly disagree with the notion that Drake being associated with UK somehow makes the program seem “trashy.” Being an 18 year old college student, I can personally attest that Drake can only do good for the program. I mean imagine the influence on potential recruits when they see pictures of Drake “hangin’ with his lil’ bros Demarcus and Wall!” and “Got my UK ring, Big Blur Love, #LaFamilia.” Trust me on this, Drake being associated with this program is anything but “trashy” and does more than the average Cat fan knows for this great program.

3 & 5, you’re out of touch. Prob think the Judd’s would be more appropriate. Stud boosters like drake. So stfu

Recruits like him but I think he’s lame and all of his songs sound alike. With that said I’m all for it if it helps us land kids like Randall and Wiggins

#5, J, you just said YOU are out of touch. I’d say that’s right seeing as how you like Judd. Ewwww, Gross, talk about out of touch.

Actually, J was referring to the two people I am referring to, although their comments seem to have magically disappeared…

Drake would not come close to cracking the top 100 rappers of all time. I would put him somewhere after Snow and the Fat Boys. Plus, he looks like a retard.

Having a rapper at da game will help a guy like Randle with his “business decision.” Seems like a lot of uk recruits have been faced with “business decisions” the last few years. They all say that. I guess that is the lingo uncle wes uses on them.

Jake, thanks for the clarification. Didn’t realize comments could disappear. . .
If that is the case, Apologies to #5 J.

They seem to disappear when Matt or someone else on the site seems the comment inappropriate. It would help if they just reinstated the old accounts so anybody that wanted to comment would have to sign up through WordPress first. That would weed out many of the trolls that frequent this site daily.

This can only help the recruiting visit.

10. Not against the rules to have a celebrity at an alumni game.
