CoShik Williams will miss Saturday’s game with that back injury he suffered against Louisville. The senior running back wore a red jersey this week in limited practice time and the staff has decided to hold him back against Kent State. Starting in his place will be Raymond Sanders, last year’s starting running back to open the season. Sanders carried the ball three times against Louisville for 38 yards but had the costly fumble on a potential scoring drive in the second quarter.
Backing up Sanders at the No. 2 running back spot will be Dyshawn Mobley, not Jonathan George. Mobley told reporters after practice yesterday that he is getting better everyday and waiting to make the most of his next opportunity.
He’ll have it Saturday.
