As we move into Liberty Bowl week, today’s Memphis Commercial Appeal has this story about a person to remember, Chris Mosby, a young man from Memphis who had committed to the Cats before passing away tragically in a car wreck during his Senior season. The story is a reminder of what really matters in life and is a great testament to a wonderful kid and a University that has reached out to his family. An important read.

I remembered when this happened and was wondering who would run a story about it. I am pretty sure Brooks and the staff all went to the funeral and good to see that UK still cares about a kid who never even made it to campus. I can’t imagine how hard it would be for his parents to go to that game though.

Reminds me of the kid Tubby recruited (John Stewart). Sometimes life ends early and only God knows why. Go Cats and these kids will never be forgotten.

I’m glad you guys can do this crap on this post of all post. You all need to shut up. I like how this all came after people saying they are praying for this kid’s family. You all need to grow up no matter how old you are. Great post, great story, we should ALL be thinking about this kid’s family.
