Greatest Moments In Sports In Six Minutes

by @ 6:00 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

We’ve all seen a lot of great videos on YouTube over the years, so to pinpoint one as the best wouldn’t be easy. This one, however, is pretty close to the top of my list. That list includes leprechauns flutes, rides home from the dentist, climbing in windows and snatching people up, and a road to Gr8ness.

If you’re a sports fan, give up six minutes of your Tuesday evening to watch some of the greatest moments in sports.

I’ve watched it no less than eight times today.

In the first 30 seconds I saw five people that have no place on this list. Glad the internet connection won’t even let me watch the rest.

  2. Jay Says:

Sorry, Rick Barry made me irrational for a second.

  3. David19 Says:

Missing some of my favorites Lance Alworth, Brooks Robinson and AD. Too much Jordan plus, ANY Paterno OR Tebow is too damn much !!

  4. Tebkats Says:

All those soccer shots but no Secretariat win at the Belmont.

  5. Vincent Says:

Sorry, but this is video makes me sick. Paterno? And Tebow!? Cmon, not even the greatest NFL rusher of all time, Emmit Smith. Please.

  6. cats11 Says:

Forget greatest, some of those weren’t even great moments.

  7. HamnEggs Says:

It wasn’t perfect but it was pretty fuhkin good

U tampons will Bitch Piss n Moan bout everything

  8. kfund Says:

I’d rather have seen Lightning McQueen bump drafting the King than the Laetner shot.

Rather have seen Tebow’s sack at UK.

Secretariat, would have been a good call.

    Leave out Paterno.

At least they left out the LSU hail mary.

  9. msnthrop Says:

Probably the best 48 minutes of Drew Franklin’s life happened today then right…

  10. Linda Taylor Says:

Totally agree with 4 and 8 about Secretariat’s Belmont being left out. Did anyone notice how the QB at 33 seconds bore a striking resemblance to Max Smith? Was that Roger Staubach?

  11. Tom Sellecks Mustache Says:

That assist from Rondo was NASSSTTTYYYYYYY

  12. TheProfessor Says:

No clips of UK basketball (minus the shot by Laettner). Only one clip of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. Must have been a damn 13 year old kid that put that video together….Several clips of Duke Basketball (Not surprising)…Too much Jordan for my taste…Vince Carter got in on the act a couple of times, but no Jabbar, wilt, or russell…C’mon Man!!!! Average video AT BEST.

  13. Dave Says:

I was waiting for Pete Rose 4192. I’m sad.

  14. disappointed Says:

Felt like it started off with promise, but gradually shifted gears from a “greatest moments in sports” video to a highlight or sportscenter top 10. The majority of the last four minutes wasn’t great moments, just incredible individual plays.

  15. iWantToBeTheDrewFranklin Says:

No steal by Bird from Thomas?

  16. bmack Says:

Great video. If you have your own great moments, make a video and post it.

  17. TrinityPills Says:

Years of Laettner cleaning Rupp’s floor, getting stomped on by Davis, appearing on KSR, etc. had eroded some of the bad feeling I have towards him. The 1:56 mark of that video brought them all back.
