That was the quote from 2013 small forward James Young told to recruiting guru Josh Paunil yesterday. Young is the 8th ranked player in the class by Rivals and 5th according to Scout. He sounds like he wants to be a Cat pretty bad and is mega talented. The end of August can’t come soon enough.

Cal is making an uber talented kid wait because he’s waiting for two mega uber talented players (Parker and Randle) to make their decisions first.

We BETTER get this kid. I mean, even Tubby could get a kid with that list to commit. If Cal misses on this one it may be time to get a new coach. He may be getting washed up.

How many top 20 commitments does Kentucky currently have for the 2013 class? How is Calipari’s monster 2013 class currently? In Cal we trust…let’s just hope Aug. & Sept. are magical so that April 2014 will be magical. Seen nothing yet to indicate as much…

#9 – I hear ya. Its not like Cal landed has 99% of the kids he’s wanted since he’s been at UK. And with only an elite 8, final 4, and NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP & what, 4 #1 recruiting classes to show for his 3 years here – I agree that it is high time to start to worry about Cal’s recruiting…

#6. Won’t Parker and Randle be expected to play the 4 and 5 positions, while Young will play the 3? I don’t see any problem or conflict with all three.

Parker is a prototypical 3, not a 4. An absolute, definitive 3.
Randle is a 3-4 like Terrence Jones.

BBN- When you are recruiting top 10 players, they wait, because they can and so can Cal. So no need to be chicken little. We will likley be #1 again.
