Ladies and Gentleman your Sunday morning links are brought to you by the new Miss Kentucky, Jessica Casebolt. Casebolt is a student at Georgetown College who hails from Pikeville. Now she will be representing the state in the KSR favorite Miss America pageant. But enough about beauty pageants it’s time for sports, here’s some links:
With the summer league in Orlando wrapping up this week there are plenty of recaps of all the action. Brandon Knight lead the league in assists with 7 per game and Enes, not to be outdone, lead the league in rebounding with nine per game.
UKalthetics blog has a nice wrap up of how the Cats fared in the Vegas league. With so much young talent in the league every year the Cats may end up leading the summer leagues in every category for years to come.
The Rockets dropped their game in the summer league to the Wizards, but the real focus on the game was the trade rumors. The team is basically just the young crop of players who will have to quickly be taught or be traded.
Kyle Tucker, who must be the only person left at the CJ about now, has an article about the fan reaction to the UK home schedule. Fans are angryespecially in regards to the increase in ticket prices and the lack of marquee match-ups.
Good morning KSR readers. Just spent an early Sunday Morning watching the Final Four against Louisville and Kansas. Felt wonderful all over again. 8 was great and 9 is going to be fine.
i hate the home non-conference scheduling this year and how it will likely continue.. i like watching big games in rupp, and always looked forward to the cbs games when we had iu, and unc in back to back weekends. we are the best team in the nation and don’t need to play crappy teams like vmi or lafayette all year until the sec schedule starts. we will always make the tournament and can afford to schedule some big games every year, and some of them at home. i come to rupp for good games, not small teams.. i went to 2 games last year, ul and unc at rupp.. i wouldn’t consider going to any of the upcoming games this year, i can watch us blow them out on tv.. we need marquee games and big names to keep us on tv early in the year, and 8 games against these small schools will not be on national tv. i love cal and he is the best at what he does, but we need games to be excited about too, so i hope he will schedule some games at home that fans want..
Who wins the summer league MVP MKG,Jones or Enes? Any body know what site to go vote for the summer league allstar team? More hardware for the UK trophy case I’m sure MKG or Jones will probaly allow UK to house their Summer league awards in the case. I hope.
Learn the difference between “lead” and “led” Andrew. Lead is the element found at position 82 on the Table of Elements. Led is the past tense of lead not to be confused with the element Lead. Your post should read, “Brandon Knight “led” the league in assists with 7 per game and Enes, not to be outdone, “led” the league in rebounding with nine per game.” If you are going to write for a site read by hundreds of thousands of people a day at least check your grammar. Once is a typo, twice makes you look dumb.
#8 Grammar Police: learn how to use commas before you start bashing grammar…f’ing dbag. Once posting about grammar makes you a complete douchebag. Now go put some pants on you troll.

Good day.

The Rockets were just building assets to make a run at Howard. That team will not look like that at the beginning of the year.

In many cases, Grammar Police > Actual Police
Kyle Tucker is still around? I had no clue.

Grammatical errors are distracting. Andrew, maybe consider making an audio version of what you’re trying to say, so we can download it.
