Good morning, everyone. Today’s web links are brought to you a Link of Zelda fame, who is apparently now a rapper. Give it a listen, the song is embarrassingly catchy.
-KSR’s best friend in the whole wide world and CBS Sports’ writer, Jeff Goodman, took a closer look at 2013 recruit Jabari Parker and says it’s hard to find any faults in any aspect of Parker’s life.
-Eric Bossi of Rivals.com recaps the LeBron Skills Academy. He’s says that UK target Andrew Wiggins proved he was the best high school player on the planet regardless of class.
-Kentucky junior lefthander Jared Grundy, who was picked in the 27th round by the Minnesota Twins, is electing to stay in Lexington for another year. Grundy was a huge part of the Wildcats’ success this year and it’ll be great to have him in the fold again next year.
-Have you noticed something new about Kentucky’s soccer field? Well, the university has just installed a new a scoreboard at the complex that’s very similar to the one UK softball received a couple of month ago.
-Finally, I’m sure you’ve all heard of the tragic news regarding the Penn State/Joe Paterno situation. One writer thinks that despite the fact that all involved have left, the school should still face repercussions. The only punishment he thinks will suffice for the actions are the NCAA’s death penalty. Give this a read.

If the Penn State situation doesn’t scream lack of institutional control, nothing does.

How Penn State moves forward will be interesting and revealing. The criminal charges will take due course. The leadership, stewardship, and control issues have to be dealt with inside the institution. The NCAA will not intercede, in fact they will probably pin a medal on PSU when all is said and done.
