Jorts to Houston?

by @ 5:56 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

The New York Knicks are close to getting Marcus Camby from the Rockets in a deal that could send Josh Harrellson to Houston to join two of his former teammates. It’s hard to imagine the Houston Forwards, I mean, the Houston Rockets keeping all three guys around, but if they do, it’ll be a Kentucky frontcourt with Jorts, Patrick Patterson and Terrence Jones.

We’ll keep an eye on this one.

Seriously do the Rockets have any guards?

  2. David19 Says:

That’s why it’s so hard to like the NBA. Who can root for a TEAM , when the players are always changing?

  3. burger Says:

The Rockets management just might be the biggest bunch of imbeciles on the planet.

Kevin McHale, can you explain your tomfoolery?

    #2 Oh the irony…

  5. Kentucky Fan Says:

    Good catch #4.

    2) I’m confused

Jorts’ NBA career is in serious jeapordy. As a marginal player he HAS to be in the right spot. Houston is NOT that place. Hopefully he lands somewhere on an NBA roster because once he is sent to D League or ends up overseas, it will be very difficult to find another team in the league

  7. slowdown Says:

#4… the difference is our guys leave for the NBA not another college team… excluding of course all those transfers the last three years…

  8. HamnEggs Says:

    Off topic

Anyone know if Enes Kanter will be playing for Turkey in Olympics? Did he make their squad?

  9. HamnEggs Says:

    7) You didn’t exactly clear things up there

  10. HamnEggs Says:

How did NOONE know that Nerlens was needing to take summer courses to boost gpa?

I knew something was up there.

    10) Relax Cal said he will be fine

  12. HamnEggs Says:

I’m not exactly slitting my wrists here little buddy.

Just pointing out that it was news to me that he still needed coursework to get eligible. Thought it was just a clearinghouse issue or review process.

Very under-reported story by UK Bball standards

  13. i.b.poe Says:

Hamm, it’s been reported repeatedly. This is not new news

  14. HamnEggs Says:

    Oh well, news to me

Note to self: eat more veggies, start using internet, write thank you note to Al Gore

  15. SexnNursinHomes Says:

14- I thought it was just a clearing house review issue as well. So Noel has to finish his classes to boost up his GPA, only to turn around then start the NCAA review. effin crap.

  16. HamnEggs Says:

Looks like deal going through sending Jorts to Houston Wildcats

  17. Mack Says:

The Rocket’s GM is all about gathering as he says “assets” to be utilized in a “block buster trade” that he has failed to accomplish now he has 8 or 9 forwards and no place to play. Either he has to make his “block buster” or leave before the Rockets will be a good place to play. For now all of the CATS need to get out of Houston for their own good.
