  3. UKfanFelicia Says:

Hmmm first time I think I have been here today and something is different besides the pics at the top. I think I like it..wow wtg go UK gettinga top 25 commit.

  4. thenamerobdigity Says:

    Big pick up.

  5. D. K. Says:

Another great 3 STAR*** commit according to espn.com rankings!!

  6. GoCats2010 Says:

If the momentum of this class keeps up, Joker will only need 5 wins (IN MY OPINION). Good recruiting can tilt the scales in his favor. Doing really well even without Tee in the last couple weeks

  7. UKshain Says:

    Awesome news!. Keep em coming!

  8. Bill Says:

    Good news for the Cats!

  9. cracka Says:

scout.com has him ranked as the 90th running back in the class

  10. UKBlue Says:

Now comes this question: with UK getting at least now a couple of decent recruits, if Joker goes under 6 wins, do you pull the trigger on Joker or keep him & then have to extend his contract hoping these recruits work?

We have really backed ourselves into a really bad corner.

  11. MattJonesisTheEricDanielsofUKMedia Says:

It seems like UK is getting some good recruits, now we need some wins.

  12. Sean D Says:

Can’t dog the 3 star here. Look at the schools he turned down.

  13. dave Says:

his brother is a FR LB on the team for this fall. not hating, but the kid is arguably a top 300-player talent who doesn’t commit to uk without bro already here.

  14. G-Unit Says:

This kid isn’t nationally ranked in the top 250 but is a top 25 athlete???

  15. george takai Says:

Hey now. Forget stars and rankings. Look at the offer list. If you still insist on looking at stars, know that if he played in ky high school system, he would be a 5 star.

  16. rob Says:

Very nice pick up,lots of good offers,we need more of this type

  17. Tommy Says:

Another story broken by Cats Illustrated.

  18. cracka Says:

… and fixed by ksr (hate it when other sites break uk things)

  19. cracka Says:

rivals has him listed as an athlete instead of a particular position (randall cobb was also listed this way by recruiting services) … basically, there are a ton of great athletes in high schools across the country who all play qb because the coach wants the ball in their hands, but they can’t all go to college and be a running qb … this guy is only 5’9″ and played rb and db in high school, probably his only 2 options in college as well

  21. barry Says:

the only problem is they need their class to be just as good or better to compete in the sec. 90 in the state on all sites. 14. he is ranked 25th at his position, not national.

  22. Beavis Says:

Who is going to block for him ? Kid will get killed in the SEC when he runs into a linebacker that is 50 lbs heavier and can outrun him.

  23. buzzard Says:

    Nice job Joker. Go Cats!

  24. JokerGetsFour Says:

    Good job coaches.

  25. Dave in Bangkok Says:

He’s a “Top 25 Athlete.” So, he can run really fast and jump really high…but, he can’t catch or block or tackle.

    lol

  26. Yoda Says:

#22 is dead on. Schools like Miami, Ohio St, ND, etc get “Athlete” players to round out their teams, not to become stars. Randall Cobb was a once in a lifetime steal, and Khalid likely isn’t. This kid – and any decent offense player – would get crushed behind UK’s front line. Maybe that’s Joker’s gameplan; get as many capable bodies as possible since 2-3 of them will be on a stretcher by the time SEC play starts?
