Nerlens Noel is on a path eerily similar to the path Anthony Davis took to where he is today. As SLAM Magazine points out in its Anthony Davis cover issue, that path includes recruiting drama created by the national media that he has no control over, whatsoever.
Luckily for Nerlens, he has someone he can talk to about it. That someone is Anthony Davis.
“He just told me, ‘Don’t let the media get to you,’” Noel told SLAM Magazine. “If they’re gonna try to make all this publicity out of it, just come and ball, focus on academics and basketball. That’s it.”
If he does that, Noel has a good shot at continuing down Davis’ path, including winning a national title at UK and becoming the No. 1 draft pick after his freshman season.
No one will remember any talk about AAU coaches and advisors then.

I know Jones said don’t worry about Noel. Bu what’s the hold up again? He’s graduated. It took Drummond like 36 minutes to get qualified at uconn.

This whole situation is just a little shady. Why hasn’t a reason been given as to why he’s still not on campus? Where there’s smoke, there’s fire…

5 – You are correct, but don’t bother with that guy…he is always making an ignorant comment about something.
