Jersey sales are one of the most telling statistic of a player’s popularity. The NBA recently released its international numbers on jersey sales and former Cat, Rajon Rondo, is doing pretty well in the overseas market. Rondo has the fifth-best selling jersey in China and is seventh overall internationally. It’s pretty cool to see Rondo’s talent recognized not only here, but all over the world. That type of impact on a player’s brand is invaluable. Here’s a look at the list in China, and internationally:

Think about Rondo in Cal’s system. Then ask him (Rondo) if he cares who his coach was. He is the one that won that title(NBA) for them.

I used to own those Rondo Reeboks! They were tight! Had the Reebok Air Pump on em. Then he signed with Nike the next year.

Despite some of his supposed character flaws, the guy is hands down the BEST passer in the league.
