At least the kid on the far right is wearing Carolina shorts, or at least they are UNC colors.
June 20th, 2012 at 3:25 pm
From one Marshall to another… we played gentlemen. Nice work!
June 20th, 2012 at 3:34 pm
I rocked a flat top for my freshman year of basketball back in 1992. I was trying to be Chris Mullen.
June 20th, 2012 at 3:35 pm
Is it just me or is there anyone else questioning the way the second to last guy on the left has his arm around the last guy. Above the shoulders would be ok but this is questionable
June 20th, 2012 at 3:35 pm
The fighting Ivan Dragos.
June 20th, 2012 at 3:37 pm
*Mullin*

Ok KSR, do you not think that the team Sean Woods coached, Mississippi Valley State, being banned from the post season next year because of their APR score, is news worthy?
June 20th, 2012 at 3:41 pm
4) I was thinking the same thing. If he’s into that sort of thing, he could at least go a little lower.
June 20th, 2012 at 3:49 pm
#7 – nope because he is at Morehead now…. and MVSU is MVSU.
June 20th, 2012 at 3:50 pm
Go MARSHALS. where in the world is MARSHALL COUNTY. Only Marshall County people will understand this.
June 20th, 2012 at 3:53 pm

June 20th, 2012 at 3:57 pm
give us our haircuts back!!! Nice work fellas.
June 20th, 2012 at 4:09 pm
4)8) I’m the one he has his arm around. You’re suspicions are pretty accurate. He hasn’t fully come out of the closet yet but he’s definitely got his foot out the door.

Guaranteed state championship for these kids? I think so…
June 20th, 2012 at 4:39 pm

June 20th, 2012 at 4:41 pm
Making us proud boys. This is awesome.
June 20th, 2012 at 4:59 pm
You sure that ain’t the cast from Hoosiers? That ain’t Jimmy Chitwood?
June 20th, 2012 at 5:10 pm
Guaranteed state championship? Ha ha. Laughable. They might be able to win their weak region, but beating the best of the best is a different story.
June 20th, 2012 at 5:39 pm
I once saw the young lad in the orange dunk from the free throw line without jumping. sight to see thats for sure. kid can ball.
June 20th, 2012 at 5:43 pm
Looks like a ton of kids who wish they were Nerlens Noel if ya ask me.
June 20th, 2012 at 5:49 pm
Was driving through Bowling Green the other day and noticed a sign outside of a barber shop that read: “Flat Tops: $5″ Guess it is a state wide trend.

I went to high school at Graves County. Its an adjacent county and we play ball in the same region. Marshall county is full of hicks, asses, and racists. Maybe they are different now, but when I was in high school a few years back there was nothing worse than being from Marshall County. I’m at UK now and I still cant stand people from Marshall. Its like they were raised with their noses already turned up and their parents preach to them that their crap doesn’t stink. Anyway, I’m stepping off the soapbox now, my rant is done but my passion against Marshall County and those stupid bottom feeding Marshalls still lives on. GO GRAVES COUNTY EAGLES AND GO CATS.
June 20th, 2012 at 7:05 pm
22 – Get a life.
June 20th, 2012 at 7:15 pm
#22…at one time Graves County had better recruiting classes than UK…
I guess they’re already legally selling alcohol in the MC, ’cause you’d have to be drunk to get a hair cut like that!
June 20th, 2012 at 7:43 pm
This makes me so happy! Go Marshals! And vote yes on the 17th
June 20th, 2012 at 8:38 pm
Marshall county supporting an African American? Gee that’s new. Ironically funny
June 20th, 2012 at 9:55 pm
26. Really?
June 20th, 2012 at 9:57 pm
Dear Chad, (#4): In my long and interesting life, I have observed that the men who most
often harp about whether or not other men are gay… are often terrified they are gay
themselves. One thing a lot of young gay men do, out of terror, is refuse to touch
other men. It’s really quite normal for young hetersexual men to hug each other
all kinds of ways. Because they AREN’T WORRIED IT’S SEXUAL.
Now sir, what does that say about YOU?
Get some help. If you don’t want to be gay, get some help and you won’t have
to act on the impulses. If you do want to be gay, get some help learning to
accept yourself like you are. If you’re terrified you might be gay but
aren’t sure, at least learn to respect all people no matter who or
“what” they are; then you won’t have to be so terrified about
what the world thinks of YOU.
Thank you, Nerlens Noel, for rocking a hair style that’s helped make
Kentucky great for hundreds of year. I flat top is like “Instant
Kentucky” : Just Add Waterfall.

Amazing. Spelling all good through the important part.
Went straight to heck in the goofin’.
Oh for a spell check. Amen.

Good to see to see some MC Boys getting some KSR time. MCHS Boys have had a nice 2 yr. run at State Basketball Tourney (after a looong dry spell). Many in the picture were key components. That the pic inspired a Graves Co. rant and gay lecture is just….KSR classic!
June 20th, 2012 at 11:38 pm
As a Marshall Co class of 92 grad, I love to see this on my favorite Blog!!
Graves county sucks… You know it, and I know it… End of discussion.
GO CATS!

30 definitely a classic cross county argument. In the end they’re pretty much the same. But I remember the rivalry of graves and Marshall (me being on the graves side) its kind of cool how you can be pretty far removed from it, but the rivalry never really leaves you. I remember taking pictures with friends in “ozone” after we beat Marshall in overtime away. Of course graves and Marshall have traded punches over the years and I don’t know who leads the series, but to me it doesn’t really matter. The basketball, especially in Kentucky was what made high school in Kentucky most memorable. I think every kentuckian can agree with that.
June 21st, 2012 at 1:36 am
Marshall still sucks.
June 21st, 2012 at 3:34 am
Can’t we all just get along?
June 21st, 2012 at 6:22 pm

Jeremy “The Legend” Story and Dan Langhi would be proud. Not to mention Mr. Sanders…
