It is a slow, slow day here at the KSR compound. It’s a very slow day in the UK sports world in general. But, nevertheless, we power on. I even managed to find a few news bits to share with you. Now put down that ugly UT backpack and let’s go!
– This morning, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist worked out with the Bobcats and according to the Charlotte Observer’s Rick Bonnell, fell and tweaked his back, but should be fine for his Wednesday workout with the Cavaliers. Phew.
– Some football notes: the June roster was released today and our boy Bookie Cobbins will now wear the number 87 and apparently Dakotah Tyler is back on the team.
– Jabari Parker was among the 14 finalists who made the cut for the 2012 USA Basketball Men’s U17 World Championship Team, along with fellow UK targets Jahlil Okafor, Johnathan Williams and Beejay Anya. Go USA!
– On today’s radio show, Matt and Ryan discussed the etiquette of bringing children to restaurants, 2013 recruiting, and why fans need to rally around the football team. Listen in…

According to Jody Demling, he is considering Kentucky, Indiana, Louisville, and about six other schools. He may not have an offer yet, though.

any chance the bad workout for the Bobcats was on purpose?
I also think that everything in the X-Files movie was true and that the fact that Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy and Kennedy’s secretary was named Lincoln was more than an amazing conicidence.
