One of my favorite parts of KSR is Tyler Thompson’s Thursday Night “Tweetbeat”, in which she looks at the best of tweets from those in the UK world. However we also know that the kids are loving the Instagram now as well (or at least they did a few months ago…maybe now they have moved back to Friendster). I know that many of you are not on Instagram (I just got on a few months ago), so occasionally we will give you the best pictures that come from the application. Here are four from this weekend:
Walter McCarty was hanging this weekend with a powerful twosome, all-time Home Run leader Barry Bonds and (I believe) former enforcer Kevin Willis.
Stevie Johnson was in Bristol on the ESPN set hanging with Jay Crawford. You may (or may not) remember that Crawford got his start at WYMT in Hazard, reporting on Middlesboro vs Harlan basketball games (he was there when Charles Thomas made a three in my face…he didnt show up when I got revenge versus the Green Dragons’ tennis team that Spring)
Keyla Snowden upladed an old school picture of her ballin’ in Lexington. I like it because the old guy behind her is just chilling and seems to have zero care in the world.
And finally, Nerlens Noel spent the weekend hanging with Sam Malone in Massachusetts. Not only do I hope Sam appreciates this, but I like the Nerlens Noel “my hat will sit on top of my flat top and you can just deal with it” look.

Bonds’ HR “records” need an asterisk or should not be recognized. I like the idea of posting the Instagrams. Thanks.

Damn, look at Bonds. I knew roids shrunk your balls, but I didn’t know it made your overall heighth shrink. Learn something new everyday.

3- I’ll be damned. I thought Bonds was 6’1 195 before roids and then 6’7 265 after roids. Then he shrunk. Man, I’ll believe anything.

just saying, that picture of keyla snowden doesn’t appear to be in lexington. I’m just guessing because she is wearing an away jersey, and the seats have duke written on them.

Why is the grass in Sam Malone’s yard so brown? I know it Massachusetts and everything gets green later in the year, but jeez, its middle of June.
