Kentucky LHP Taylor Rogers has signed with the Minnesota Twins for a $100,000 signing bonus. Rogers was drafted by the Twins in the 11th round and is the eighth Kentucky player to sign with a MLB team. Nine were drafted, which means Jerad Grundy is the only player left to sign a contract or return to school.
Congrats, Taylor.

As a die-hard displaced Twins fan I don’t know whether to be happy or sad. The Twins desperately need pitching, so he could move up fast; but then, again, the Twins desperately need pitching and they may move him up too fast. I’ll keep my fingers crossed, and keep an eye out for him…..
