Happy birthday to the one of the head honchos around these parts, Mr. Drew Franklin. Drew, who joined the site way back on August 13, 2009, has grown from the site’s crazy drunk uncle to somewhat of a paternal big brother figure as Moderator in the past year. Through his work on the site, KSTV, and the radio show, Drew’s proved he’s a true original, one of the most talented in the business, and I for one would like to thank him for being a pretty badass boss, not to mention a good friend.
In true KSR style, Drew is celebrating his birthday by jumping out of a plane, although methinks he’d prefer a Jimmy Buffet concert instead. Regardless, happy birthday. I tried to get Kate Upton or Carly Rae Jepsen to come serenade you, ala Marilyn Monroe, but the best I could do was BTI. Forgive me.
