The future number one pick isn’t shy about speaking out on current NBA players. I’m sure you heard the Kobe Bean comments, but now Kevin Garnett was the topic of conversation for Anthony Davis. The Big Ticket is one of the most respected, but also one of the most intimidating players in the league. After being asked about Garnett and his unorthodox ways, Davis had this to say:
Davis, who has often drawn comparison to a young Kevin Garnett, was asked to list some frontcourt players he looks forward to playing against.
“Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard … I’m kinda scared of KG, he’s kind of crazy.” Davis said.
Some people aren’t fond of Davis commenting on future hall of fame guys so much, but it seems like its all out of respect. I’m sure he admires the hell out of KG, and it looks like he even patterns some of his game after him. See any of AD’s game in this video?

KG = biggest punk/dirtiest player in the NBA. AD should be scared…of his cheap shots.

If Davis could have a KG career, I’d say he did well.

Looks like KG had a “KENTUCKY” hat on, turned backwards in the beginning of that video

Pitino was in the mix for KG. He wanted to go to college. Just didn’t have the grades.

It says Kansas for sure.

#4 second letter on the hat was an A possible Kansas.

Yep, I think it is Kansas after re-watching it

Davis will be better. I don’t get the comparison.

Garnett looks like a Doberman Pinscher.
People forget how good KG was in his prime because he played for Minny. He’s a sure fire HOF’er. If Davis is better than him then he’ll likely be one the PF’s of all time.

Dwight Howard will eat Anthony Davis for about 3 seasons. Anthony will have his moments. Then he’ll get bigger and start learning how to slow Howard down.
When they are both at their peaks… I give Anthony the edge.

He’ll always be GarNOT to me.
