The crosstown rivalry between Kentucky and Transylvania will continue for at least another year. KSR has learned that UK will schedule Transy for a preseason game for the second year in a row.
Brian Lane’s boys took an early 11-4 lead in last year’s contest, but Kentucky would go on to win 97-53 behind a game-high 22 points from Terrence Jones. Coach Lane took all the blame for the loss, saying it was his own fault for having his team walk from Transy’s campus to Rupp Arena for the game.
“That walk was a lot harder than I was expecting,” he said.
I bet they take the van this time.

I used to love the camps Transy had when i was a kid. Coach Lane seemed to have high integrity.

3 – Me too! Most outstanding camper, what what! Different coach Lane, though. Don Lane’s son Brian Lane is running the show now.

That’s who i meant, Don Lane. It was back in the 80′s and if i’m not mistaken Brian was playing for his dad at the time and helping with the camp. They would give milkshakes to the winners of certain games and other competitions.
