As a basketball fan, if you aren’t familiar with HoopsWorld.com, you need to be. They consistently have some of the best coverage of the NBA and its incoming draft classes. Some of their best writers recently put together first-round mock drafts. This is the fourth time doing them so they are little more refined, with more insight of how NBA General managers are rating the class. Obviously, there isn’t going to be a shortage of National Champions listed in each of the mocks. All four mocks have no less than four Cats named in each projection. Two writers, Brigham and Raskin, are guessing that five Kentucky players sneak into the first round. Here are the projections:
The NBA lottery is next Wednesday, May 30th, and we will finally find out what team will win the Anthony Davis sweepstakes. The NBA combine is shortly after, coming up at the beginning of June. These mocks should change some after the combine, but not very much. Everyone knows who the blue chip, franchising changing, players and most teams already have their eyes on certain players.

Obviously the two guys with five Cats in the first round “get it”…almost. Anyone seen a draft board with Darius in 1st round? Is there anything we in BBN can do to get the hype around Doron and Darius up? Need six in first round.

Steve Kyler got it right. Hate to say it bout one of our cats, but nba draft is all about potential. Lamb has about maxxed out his potential. He is a lethal mid range, 3 point shooter, SG who won’t be able to compete against other SG in the league. No way lamb could go against the likes of Dwade or Kobe, just to name a few. He might make the late first round but im going with early 2nd. Jones at the end of the lottery, and Teague late in the first sounds right to me.

Yeah Kobe and D-Wade would go ahead of Lamb, but they’re not going to be on the board for this draft. Maxxed out or not, Lamb’s potential is enough to stick around the league for a long time. Go back to your IU or UL board #5.

Funny how most the people on this site think just because someone doesn’t highly praise the cats beyond belief, they are fans of another school. I’m a realist, I don’t look beyond what is real, kinda like I don’t think we going to win the championship every single year like most the people on this site do
Like I said lamb may go in the end of the first round, like you said he is one of the best sg in this class. However he will be a 8-10 minute player at best in league, that’s just how it is. He plays one of the toughest positions. The team that picks him will be a team desperately in need of a backup, or a backup to the backup. Depends if the team is willing to draft a person for deep bench or maybe grab a better backup at a different position. Lamb will probably go from 27-33, but my guess is the latter.

If the Celtics could grab Q Miller and Moultrie, oh shit it is on like donkey kong. got to keep KG around a couple more years to mentor them then let them loose.

Mark my words, Harrison Barnes will be a below average pro. He doesnt shoot the ball very well and he isnt a tough nosed type of player. I think Thomas Robinson and MKG will be beasts

Totally unrealistic because of no foreign players in first round-
