You don’t have to tell Kentucky fans how good Orlando Antigua is. We know. We see it all the time. But when you do tell us, we’ll gladly listen.
ESPN named its top 10 assistants 40 and under today and Coach O is sitting pretty at the top of the list.
Orlando Antigua (Kentucky): The former Pitt standout helped John Calipari sign another top-ranked recruiting class. He’s also assisted Calipari in developing the young prodigies who have come to Lexington. After Kentucky won the national title in April, Antigua was a candidate for multiple jobs, including Duquesne. It’s just a matter of time before he’s leading his own show. He turns 40 next year.
It’s good to know he signed that contract extension over the weekend. Every year he sticks around Kentucky is a year we should be grateful.

Almost every recruit talks about “Coach Orlando” when asked why they came to UK. Hope we get to keep him as long as possible!

He’ll be tough to replace….hope we don’t have to worry about it for a while.

It will be a sad day when Coach O leaves, would love to see him go somewhere and have a ton of success and take over here when Cal eventually leaves.

Could anybody see Coach O as possible UK head coach down the line, I mean why break a good thing.

I echo #4 thoughts although it will be a sad day when he leaves. Better to be the guy who replaces the guy who replaces Cal.
