It took extra innings, but Kentucky baseball got the win in Bloomington. The Bat Cats won 6-5 in the 12th inning thanks to strong offensive performances from J.T. Riddle and Cameron Flynn and a dominant night on the mound from A.J. Reed. Reed threw 5.1 innings without giving up an earned run. Riddle and Flynn had three hits each.
UK improved to 23-2 in non-conference games this season and is just six wins away from the school record for most wins in a single season.
They travel to Tuscaloosa on Friday for a three-game weekend series with Alabama.
