Ready to play scout? One future Cat and three UK targets are playing in tonight’s Nike Hoops Summit in Portland Oregon. Archie Goodwin, Anthony Bennett, Shabazz Muhammad and Nerlens Noel will play in the event, which starts at 10 p.m. Eastern and will be televised on the Fox Sports Networks (unless you’re in Nashville, in which case you’re stuck with hockey).
Here’s the roster for the 2012 USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Select Team (Bennett will play for the World Select Team):

Don’t forget the #1 player in the 2014 class Andrew Wiggins is also representing Canada tonight for the International squad. He averaged 25 points 13 rebounds and 4 blocks per game for Huntington Prep this season, I am sure Cal will be recruiting him and I am really interested in watching him play.

It struck me today that no other coach, today, is capable of doing what cal does. Some day, hopefully 20 years or more in the future, we will have to replace him. And when we do, it will almost certainly have to be with a coach who develops taleNt over a period of years, just like every other coach in America. That will be quite an adjustment. For now, let’s enjoy our good fortune, where we contend for a final four every single year.

I just figured out who Noel reminds me of. There was a duo music group in late 80′s called Kid ‘n Play. One of em had a simular hair style as Noel’s. Ain’t hating just saying.

Pikeville area Fox ALWAYS SCREWS US. the guide says basketball but i have hocky. they DO NOT show us the REDS but cuase us to get blacked out by ESPN for REDS games.. God i’m sick of fox.

After watching the cats play this year, the guys playing the Nike Hoops Summit look like 5 individual guys looking to create their own highlight reels. I think I’ve seen the USA team pass the ball ~ 5 times in 10 minutes.
