This is for the greatest basketball program of all time. At the moment UNC is leading UK 30% vs. 29%. Go and vote for UK. And, pass it on to all UK fans. Lets go BBN.
The USA Today article is deliberately deceptive in that it says UNC has 24 fewer wins in three fewer seasons, and with a lot less baggage. I does not mentions that UNC has played in over 60 more total games. Please go vote. And, pass the word on. The Big Blue is back.
You have to go to SItvoffer dot com I already subscribe so I am not eligible. I would guess the special issue will be available at retailers. That is how I got mine from ’98 and ’96.
Somebody might want to point out before they mass produce these things that of the 3 players on the cover, Marquis Teague isn’t one of “Heros of Lexington” that they show…….that’d be AD, TJ and Darius…….just sayin.
When will it actually be released? Friday? Saturday? For once, I’m glad I’m outside of Kentucky so I will be able to pick one up at the newstands with no problem
#4 Kroger usually sells them for $5 or $10. I can’t remember which.GO CATS! WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!
I’M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!! I’m taking my daughter, Grandaughter and Son in law to celebrate !
While UK doesn’t lead in championships (for various reasons), it’s the greatest college basketball program, bar none! “The best ever,” should be measured in dominance, consistency, and championships combined. If you do that, it’s undeniable!!! Go Cats…and hang no. 9!

April 4th, 2012 at 9:07 pm
This is one of the nicest SI covers ever.
April 4th, 2012 at 9:11 pm
Does anyone know how to get these issues without subscribing?????? Please let me know!
April 4th, 2012 at 9:11 pm
SI plays nice when they really want the KY fan’s dollar. Potentially largest sales ever of special issue. All about the $$$.

I have posted this on several articles. But, H-ll, the BBN can out vote these clowns. Go do it.
April 4th, 2012 at 9:18 pm

No MKG on the cover? Give me a break. I’m gonna buy it but c’mon
April 4th, 2012 at 9:37 pm
I agree it’s not complete without MKG! What were they thinking?
April 4th, 2012 at 9:38 pm
Will Kentucky be on the cover of the weekly SI this week?
April 4th, 2012 at 9:46 pm
Not only do they not picture MKG but he is the only one of the top 6 thats name does not appear on the cover. WTF
April 4th, 2012 at 9:49 pm
I wish it had Miller on the front.
April 4th, 2012 at 10:09 pm
MKG was on the cover last week.

USA fails to mention UCLA’s sugar daddy (Gilbert?) as well. No sanctions ever happened, but there is no doubt he was buying Wooden’s great talent.
April 4th, 2012 at 10:19 pm
Dumb question but will it be available in stores instead of having to subscribe to the whole f’n year off magazines.
April 4th, 2012 at 10:23 pm
I got the Wildcat SI subscription package. I get this issue with the hard cover, championship t-shirt, and mini basketball in addition to SI.
April 4th, 2012 at 10:33 pm
#6, 11 – I just voted. UK is up to 35% over UNC 29%.
April 4th, 2012 at 10:37 pm
20) I went to si.com and found nothing about the wildcat subscription package. How did you order yours?

I meant Doron Lamb vs. Darius.
April 5th, 2012 at 9:36 am
Why is Doron Lamb bald in the picture?
