I would think if anything it defuses any potential “hate” or “criticism”.. If we are all having a good time with it.. How can another school use it against us? It’s not like Anthony Davis has never looked in a mirror.. Or like he’s going to see this and say “wow, i do have a unibrow!”….. If it bothered him so much I’m sure he could fork out 5 bucks and run over to Posh and have it waxed or tweased….. Geeez

8- I have no problem with the brow thing. AD embraces that. But connecting him to a widely known psychopathic serial killer is a stretch. It’s ok for this site and I appreciate the great art work, but what happens if this goes viral? Do you think it will be positive news?

Unabomber was a killer whose career spanned nearly 20 years, killing three people and injuring 23 others. His targets included Northwestern University, U of Utah, Vanderbilt U, UC Berkeley, U Michigan and Yale U.

How many times have you seen people make hilarious comparisons to Hitler? (MJ’s moustache comes to mind) And Hitler was considerably worse. It’s a joke, and hilarious, grow a pair.

Why don’t you simply “grow” and outgrow the immature attacks. Perhaps you were too young to experience terror attacks on campus. Perhaps you haven’t lost friends or family members in such events. Perhaps you’re just too insulated and immature.

The responses to this post are a nice microcosm of UK basketball fans in general who see us as being on a pedestal compared to other programs. Sure we are blah, blah, blah, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun. I find it doubtful that this would have caused such a scene four months ago if Danny Trevathan was the “Unatackler.” Quit being so offended by something that is not offensive. The connection here is unibrow and unabomber. Don’t take it any further than that and quit trying to ruin other peoples’ fun.

Just for the record..I don’t support serial killing, bombing, wearing hoods with glasses, and having a unibrow. I do however support, Potty humor, comedy ,Misspelled words and University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

It is the internet, no matter what you do people will take offense.
Whether you think it is funny or not (I do!), the only way it could honestly offend is if you and your family were directly impacted by the Unibomber. I’d say the cross-section of UK Fans/Unibomber victims is small enough that this image is harmless.
And I wouldn’t worry about it offending AD. The dude definitely knows he has a unibrow.

This is an awesome picture and it is comic genius. Great job C Ray. This has nothing to do with the unibomber himself and his acts. It’s about a composite drawing by the FBI that became well known among Americans and the nickname the UNABOMBER. Just because Anthony Davis has a Unibrow, he was given a harmless nickname that anybody that knows Anthony could have randomely come up with. So we call him the Uniblocker and make a job out of a FBI composite sketch? So the hell what? I think it’s so awesome I’m about to make 100 t-shirts and bet I sell everyone of ‘em!

This was amusing for a few minutes when it was making the rounds on message boards last Friday.
I know one thing. I’d check with Davis before I got carried away with a nickname that calls attention to his brow and associates him with someone who successfully bombed UNiversities and Airlines (hence, UNAbomber). I’d guess that universities, with their effiminate, heightened and inflexible sensitivities, would particularly dislike this. That right there is probably the best reason to run with this–teach them some tolerance for personal expression.
