The Courier Journal caught up with UK signees Archie Goodwin and Alex Poythress after their respective huge performances in Lexington last night. They’re both outstanding players that gave Kentucky fans quite a preview of what to look forward to next year, but the best part of these interviews has to be that they each described their outings, in which Goodwin scored 37 and Poythress 42, as “alright.” Coach Cal and members of the staff, along with Terrence Jones, Marquis Teague, Doron Lamb and Kyle Wiltjer, among others, were on hand for the games at Lexington Catholic last night. Here is what each of the UK recruits had to say about the games:

Work on your interview skills, Alex. Praise our Lord and savior, first. Then, your teammates. Then, try not to look like you want to get the heck out of Dodge as fast as possible instead of talking to these guys who have to interview high school kids to put food on the table.
