If there’s one thing that Dick Vitale loves in life, it’s awards (and KSR–love you too, baybee!). Yesterday, he named the Cats his “Team of the Week” after their wins over St. John’s and, more importantly, North Carolina:
TEAM OF THE WEEK: Kentucky
The young Wildcats scored a huge win over North Carolina at Rupp. That came after big blue put a hurting on St. John’s.
Vitale also gives more credit where credit is due by naming Anthony Davis his “Diaper Dandy of the Week”:
DIAPER DANDY OF THE WEEK: Anthony Davis, Kentucky
He had a great game against St. John’s (15 points and a career-high 15 rebounds for his third double-double of the season and second consecutive).
