Wesley Woodyard says, “Child Please” and Stevie will (not) “Get Loose” tonight

Before I spend the whole week torturing the Louisville Cardinals, I would like to congratulate a few of the former football Cats on their NFL success. As we reported yesterday, Wesley Woodyard recorded his first career interception against the Bengals, and more notably, all over Chad Ochocinco’s grill. For those of you that had better things to do than watch a Bengals game, NFL.com has the video. If you turn your volume up, you can almost hear Wesley tell Chad to “kiss the baby”.

Keenan Burton is now 1,776 yards away from breaking Isaac Bruce’s record for receiving yards in a single season for the St. Louis Rams. Burton hauled in one reception for five yards yesterday against Seattle.  In other news, the Rams are terrible.

We’re only an hour away from Stevie getting loose all over the New England Patriots tonight on Monday Night Football.  With Marshawn Lynch out for Buffalo, the Bills will be relying on the passing game to sustain drives, and Stevie Johnson is right in the mix of go-to-guys to move the chains.  Johnson, Josh Reed, and Roscoe Parrish will get plenty of looks in the passing game as T.O. and Lee Evans draw all of the attention from the Patriots’ defense.  Let’s hope Stevie can make the best of his opportunity tonight while staying out of Myron Pryor’s way.  Good luck to both guys.

MNF UPDATE:
Johnson is listed as inactive tonight according to BuffaloBills.com.  Geez, who would’ve ever thought to check there?  I guess I got all excited for nothing.  Go Myron Pryor!
