Nerlens Noel wins the Nerlens Noel SEC Freshman of the Week Award

Congrats to Nerlens Noel on winning his fourth consecutive SEC Freshman of the Week Award. Last week, Nerlens averaged 10.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in the Cats’ games against South Carolina and Auburn.

At this rate, will the award leave Lexington this season?

Thanks for the credit but I really think it should go to Nerlens not me…

Hopefully he’ll get this award this week as well. It’ll at least help our cause tomorrow night.

Of course he’s the freshman of the week – but he’s also be player of the week caliber for the past month.

If you look at the SEC as a whole from game to game and week to week. Ever since league play, there has NOT been a more consistent player than Nerlens Noel. In my opinion he should be the SEC player of the year! Who cares if UF is the leagues best team so far! I say it should go to him easily!

I agree Noel is the player of the year in the SEC. Now if only Archie and Alex would get their game together Big Blue would be
a great team and win the Championship again. Looking for # 9
