First Half Of Boost Mobile Elite Rosters Released

I don’t know if releasing rosters is something that can create a significant amount of buzz, but the people at the Boost Mobile Elite 24 game are trying to do that today, releasing the roster in two pieces.  The first half was just released and you might recognize a few important names, including Shabazz Muhammad and Anthony Bennett, who will square off in the dunk contest.  The event will be held August 26-27 in Los Angeles and is where Kyle Wiltjer surprised us all with his commitment last year.

Here is the first roster released:

  2. Just Saying

Maybe we should guess at how many of those players will end up @ UK?

  3. Can't wait

I See 7 guys we are recruiting. That’s insane

  4. Can't wait

I’d guess at least 4. Julius Randle and Shabbazz are must gets.

  5. Maddman1

UK gets Coleman, Ellis, Muhammad, Purvis and calls it a day!

  6. Waitn' on 8

    5. At this point, UK has stopped recruiting Purvis.

  7. bung

    we gotta get McGary…

  8. Dan

My guess is three maybe four off this roster. Muhammad, McGary, Coleman and Randle in 2013. That’s if the one and done rule stays the same.

If it changes then we’ll need to replace Miller, Jones, Vargas and possibly Lamb. So that opens up spots for McGary, Muhammad, Coleman and possibly Goodwin.

  9. STEVE!

ESPN has Muhammad rated #3. They must be holding the #1 and #2 spots open for the next Duke and UNC signees.
