Doron Lamb makes Yahoo!’s All-Firecracker Team

Well, this is appropriate for your Fourth of July weekend. Yahoo! put together an All-Firecracker team of players who will catch fire in the 2011-2012 college basketball season. One of the players on the list is NC State’s C.J. Leslie — remember him? Neither do I. But you do know Doron Lamb. He’s on the list and Jason King thinks Doron will be counted on heavily this year. *Three Goggles*

Doron Lamb, Kentucky, G, sophomore – Lamb ranked third on the team in scoring (12.3 points) as a part-time starter last season. But he was largely overshadowed by players such as Brandon Knight and Terrence Jones. With another huge crop of freshmen headed to Lexington, Lamb – who shot 48.9 percent from 3-point range in 2010-11 – will be counted on heavily for leaders

Now back to your own firecrackers. Remember, set off fireworks outdoors in a clear area, away from houses, dry leaves, or grass and other flammable materials. Also, keep unused fireworks away from firing areas. Have fun.

Lamb was our most consistent player the 2nd half of the season and our best player in the FF. With apologies to Davis, Jones, Gilchrist and others…Lamb will be our best player next year and our leading scorer.

Is there nothing else to post about? A whole post about a 2 sentence post about a UK player?

If there is nothing to post about, don’t post anything.

The season needs to hurry up and start. It’s just wasted time right now.

Doron is possibly the most looked over player I can remember…. he is a absolute killer with his jumper from anywhere inside the hash mark and has a mean little floater and euro step to boot. I hope everyone keeps overlooking this baller from the big apple because hype or not he is gonna shoot lights out and get his 20ppg next yr while shooting 50% from the arc. I am so excited about next season it is absolutely ridiculous, TJ doron and miller all played great ball last year add to that the improved hood, poole, and vargas come this season, mix that in with one of the best most versatile groups of freshman since… well maybe ever and my money is on UK hanging #8, because this group of freshman have a will to win like the group of wall bledsoe and big cuz , but this time around the zone isnt gonna do anything to us but let doron, miller, and kyle wiltjer make it rain.
