Aaron Gordon is one of the top recruits still remaining in the 2013 recruiting class. Kentucky is on his final list of 3 schools, along with Arizona and Washington. Calipari’s in the midst of a battle to get Gordon away from the west coast, where Gordon calls California home. Gordon’s mother talked to a San Jose newspaper today about her son’s recruitment process, and how he will not be rushing his decision. Gordon himself stated that he would like to see how the first few months of the college season pan out before deciding.
“Coaches always tell you how they like players to fit in on the court,” Gordon said. “But I want to see if they actually do what they say. I want to see how they use versatile players on their team, because I think that’s the way I play.”

Gordon’s Mom spoke specifically about each of the 3 teams on Gordon’s final list. She had to following to say about Kentucky:
“It’s just a quality program with great players. Aaron likes that because he shines brightest when the lights are on. They just seem like good people there and we would trust them with our kid.”
